The VR market is pretty much in the hands of Meta. When it comes to mixed reality headsets, which offer augmented and/or virtual reality content, Mark Zuckerberg’s group held 74 percent of the market, according to Counterpoint Research. At the opening of this year’s Meta Connect in-house exhibition, he also made it clear that they did not intend to give up this lead. He presented the Quest 3s, a cheaper variant of the Quest 3 that lowers the price barrier for getting started with mixed reality to 330 euros.
