Lebanon – The Israeli army spokesman officially announced the assassination of the leader of the Lebanese faction movement, Hassan Nasrallah, in the raid that targeted the southern suburb of Beirut yesterday.
Avichay Adraee said in a statement on the “X” platform today, Saturday: “Yesterday, the IDF eliminated the so-called Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the Lebanese Factional Movement terrorist organization and one of its founders. The IDF also killed Ali Karaki, the terrorist leader of the Southern Front in the Lebanese faction movement, and a number of other leaders in the movement.
He added: “Air Force aircraft, under precise intelligence guidance from the intelligence agency and the security establishment, raided the central headquarters of the Lebanese faction movement, located underground under a residential building in the southern suburb area. The raid was carried out at a time when the leadership of the Lebanese faction movement was present inside the headquarters and they were coordinating terrorist activities against the citizens of Israel.”
Earlier, the Israeli army announced that it attacked the central command headquarters of the Lebanese faction movement, located under residential buildings in the heart of the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Hebrew sources reported that the target of the raid was the Secretary-General of the Lebanese faction movement, Hassan Nasrallah, while the party’s media relations official confirmed that “the Secretary-General is fine and well and was not in the targeted location.”
