Four vehicles were involved in the crash in Hirschfeld in the municipality of Scheifling in the Upper Styrian district of Murau, as the Styrian Red Cross announced. Four people each were taken to the LKH Stolzalpe and the LKH Judenburg.
The serious accident occurred early in the afternoon on the B317 for reasons that are still unknown. Two people were seriously injured and six were slightly injured. The Red Cross was on duty with four ambulances and two emergency doctors, among other things. “It could have turned out even worse. The rescue chain worked excellently, the emergency teams did an exemplary job,” said operations manager Heribert Pech from the Red Cross.
