If the Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra party made the news for the meeting of the exponents of the hoped-for (and still non-existent) Campo Largo, all together, except Renzi, interviewed on stage by the champion of freedom Serena Bortone, an exhilarating scene was missed which sees protagonist the AVS deputy Elisabetta Piccolotti, member of the Culture, Science and Education commission in the Chamber, as well as wife of the party leader Nicola Fratoianni.
The episode was resurrected by Antonio Ricci’s satirical news program, Striscia la Notizia, with a video in which Piccolotti, attacking the Minister of Education, initially thunders: «According to Valditara’s declarations, we will come to say: “What is the point of What’s the point of studying Hegel, what’s the point of studying Marx if you have to be a manager? You only need to study Economics. And this isn’t true pleasure of acquiring knowledge”.
An examination accompanied by very learned quotes which, however, unfortunately, continues: “Everything that Valditara has put in place in recent months has this flavor: students must learn to discipline themselves and if they don’t learn to discipline themselves we must learn it with repression”. With that infinitive “learn” mistakenly used instead of “teach”. Here the only repressed, poor thing, is the Italian language.
