An exemplary success journey, vegetable seller’s son becomes head of Hezbollah – World

Hassan Nasrallah, head of the Hezbollah militia, belonged to a poor family in Beirut. His father was a vegetable vendor. The area where Hassan Nasrallah was born in the Lebanese capital in 1960 was home to many ethnic groups. In addition to Palestinians, they included people from the Druze community and Orthodox Christians of Armenian origin.

Hassan Nasrallah’s surname is Abu Hadi. Hadi was the eldest of his five children with Fatima Yassin who was martyred in 1997 in a shootout with the Israeli army. He was only eighteen years old. There are also reports of the martyrdom of Hassan Nasrallah’s daughter Zainab.

Hassan Nasrallah also received training from the Lebanese resistance movement Amal Militia. He was very close to the founding leader of Hezbollah, Abbas al-Mousavi. Abbas al-Mousavi played a key role in his leadership training.

Hassan Nasrallah assumed command of Hezbollah in 1992 at the age of just 32. Due to his many battles against Israel, he got the status of a hero. They created extreme difficulties for the Israeli army on several occasions. In the 2006 Lebanon War, they caused a lot of trouble to the Israeli army in northern Israel, after which Israel had to develop the Iron Dome air defense system.

His personality inspired Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Houthi militia and many other groups to emerge and flourish.

Hassan Nasrallah received his primary education in Lebanon. Later studied Islamic studies in Najaf, Iraq. Hassan Nasrallah’s successful fight against the Israeli army in 2006 made him famous worldwide. Hassan Nasrallah emerged as the voice of Muslims around the world on the issue of honorable Prophethood.
