For more than two months, the streets of El Sector El Trompillo, in the Valmore Rodríguez parish of the Sucre municipality, have been in total darkness, and the claim made by both the Mayor’s Office and the Corpoelec by the residents of the aforementioned municipality has been of no use. place, as former councilor Héctor Díaz said this Friday morning, who once again exposes the problem publicly.

In El Trompillo, we have the streets in complete darkness, making it dangerous to go out at night because there is a risk of falling into a hole, a situation that is caused by the burned out light bulbs in the street, and the electricity cuts applied by the electric company. .

Once again we ask Mayor Keiver Peña to restore public lighting, together with the electric company Corpoelec, installing new light bulbs, since to go out at night you have to carry a flashlight to be able to see the streets and sidewalks of the place where you walk, said Hector Diaz.

The declarant mentioned in detail the places where the light bulbs are burned out: El Trompillo I and II Urbanization, also being dark at night, Calle Principal or calle dos in the Cinco de Julio sector, En Inavi, Valmore Rodríguez and calle uno via to Cenizo, darkness that is also in the La Vichú sector of the Sabana de Mendoza parish.

In Sucre, Héctor Díaz added, the electricity outages are permanent, which causes the burning of household appliances, with no one taking responsibility for the damage caused by poorly managed electricity, as Corpoelect does.

The declarant also said that both the Mayor’s Office and the councilors of Sucre must establish a position in the face of this situation, which harms everyone in general, understanding that the most responsible is the national government, however, a statement by those who exercise the government is essential. local, which we sometimes think, are afraid, hence the claim is not made against those who fail to comply.
