Scenes reminiscent of a Hollywood action movie unfolded during the robbery at the expense of remittance employees of a private company which took place shortly before 16:00 in Lavrio with loot of 1 million euros.
As can be seen from the protothema.gr report, it all happened at the moment the money delivery car stopped outside a well-known toy store for the clerks to pick up the money. One of the employees entered the store, while another remained in the car waiting for him.

That’s when the perpetrators’ plan came into play. The four robbers, wearing white overalls and surgical masks, initially approached in their vehicle the back of the courier’s car and had its tires punctured by a sharp object.
They then threatened the driver with Kalashnikovs and placed them on the windshield of the car something that resembled an explosive device, which, however, was later found to be a firecracker. The employee under the regime of fear opened the door of the vehicle as a result of which the robbers snatched away 15 bags of money. The amount according to information amounts to 1 million euros.
