Energie AG is renewing its external appearance

The new “corporate identity” of the state energy supplier Energie AG was presented on Thursday at the company headquarters in Linz. The updated logo – the previous lettering has not been changed since 1999 – is intended to reflect the strategic realignment called “Loop” of the 132-year-old company. The group wants to be climate-neutral by 2035 and invest a total of four billion euros in the transformation of the energy supply, two billion euros each in generation and in the networks.

According to the chairman of the supervisory board, Markus Achleitner (VP-State Councilor), the modernized appearance is also a factor for success on the market. The new logo, which can be used better digitally, was designed by the Viennese agency “Studio Sonntag”.

Over the next two years, internal changes will be made gradually – from ballpoint pens to the vehicle fleet – it was said at the presentation. According to Energie-AG CEO Leonhard Schitter, the companies Netz Oberösterreich, Umwelt Service and the Czech business with Bohemia GmbH will initially be excluded for cost reasons.
