How the subsidies were structured in August and September

In a recent statement, the Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy, Alexandra Sdoukou, stated that electricity subsidies will continue as long as the conditions in the market create high prices.

It is recalled that in September the state subsidy was set at 1.4 cents per kilowatt hour for consumptions of up to 500 kWh per month compared to 1.6 cents per kilowatt hour in August.

It is clarified that the subsidy concerns only the floating tariffs, i.e. the green and yellow ones and not the fixed (blue) ones.
