Cleaning and environmental commitment to communities: the work of the CPV after each rally

Asunción, IP Agency.- The Paraguayan Flying Wheel Center (CPV), led by Carlos Villate, former president and current person in charge of security in the national rallies, has completed the cleaning of all the sections used during the competition, thus culminating an effort that, according to Villate, has maintained for more than a decade.

«This is something we have done in all rallies for more than 10 years. “Today the rally ended for us,” said Villate. The initiative arose after an event in a town where the organizers met a neighbor who asked them to clean her yard after it was left dirty after a previous competition. Since then, the CPV promised to return each location in the same conditions in which they received it.

The cleaning process involves several teams that, during the days after the events, are dedicated to collecting tapes, bottles, cans and any type of garbage left on the sections. To ensure that this task is carried out efficiently, the CPV has its own staff and club vehicles, which transport waste to the municipal landfill.

Villate highlighted the importance of this commitment: “It is a social responsibility of the Paraguayan Volantes Center towards the people who allow us to use their roads.” Thanks to this continuous effort, the CPV has achieved 100% acceptance by local communities, who value that everything is left in perfect condition.

In addition, he highlighted the socio-environmental component of this task, which has allowed the CPV not only to organize successful events, but also to contribute to the well-being of the localities where they are held.

“Today, thanks to the WRC, we have the opportunity to show that we also have a social and socio-environmental responsibility, and we are fully fulfilling it,” Villate concluded, in a gesture of pride for the silent but fundamental work they do.
