The last weekend of September has arrived! To make the most of these days, let’s take a look at the events scheduled in Annecy and its surroundings.

All Weekend

  • High Five 2024 –Annecy. The High Five festival returns with a special edition. Due to resource limitations, this event dedicated to ski and cinema enthusiasts is returning to its roots, featuring preview screenings of ski, snowboard, and outdoor films at the Pathé Gaumont cinema. Evening events at Pop Plage, concerts at Brise Glace, signing sessions, and activities will also be available, but there will be no branded village or concerts at Pâquier this year.   • Home, Garden, and Decoration Show –Annecy. Discover the latest trends in home, garden, and decoration. 150 professionals specializing in construction, renovation, and gardening will be present, along with creators, artists, and craftsmen. €5/person – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. – Arcadium.
  • Wood and Forest Festival –Annecy. The forest will be the focal point during the 6th edition of the Wood and Forest Festival. The program includes conferences, performances, roundtable discussions, educational tours, games, demonstrations, orienteering races, and workshops such as wood carving and felling. Free – Saturday and Sunday – Semnoz – Regular shuttles from the station – Program.
  • End of Season Party at the Jardins du Taillefer – Lathuile. The Jardins du Taillefer are celebrating their season’s end. This Saturday, enjoy a farmers’ market in the morning followed by an evening concert featuring Latin American cuisine. Then on Sunday morning, join for a brunch with family games. Prices not specified – Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. – Sunday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • European Herding Dog Championship – Vovray-en-Bornes. Join the herding dog competition with 22 participants from across Europe. Friday, September 27

  • Concert: Squarelies –Annecy. Squarelies, a group that blends folk and rock, invites you to The Steppes for their concert. Free – From 8:30 p.m.
  • Stories and Legends aboard Espérance III –Annecy. The lake may appear calm, but it holds many tales and legends. During a walk between the lake and the mountains, you will have the chance to discover some of these stories, along with the history of the boat Espérance III. €30/person – Reservation required – From 6 p.m.
  • Uptown City Groove –Annecy. Every Friday during the summer, come dance on the Tizzo terrace at the Nouvelles Galeries d’Annecy during a musical aperitif. This Friday, DJ Captain XXI will be spinning global bass tracks. Free – Happy Hour until 8 p.m.
  • Color Party –Annecy. L’Amnésie d’Annecy invites you to a Color Party. DJ Bennicio Del Tonio will entertain with an evening of reggae, dancehall, and hip-hop. The dress code? A colorful 80s-inspired style. Free – Reservation recommended – 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
  • Screening of the documentary My Double Everest – Talloires.
