Age of the Cavalry Las Vegas Renaissance Festival 2024

The annual Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada. Each October, the event offers an exciting experience of immersion in the history, culture and spirit of the Renaissance era. The Age of Chivalry has been a famous attraction for locals and tourists for over two decades.

Program highlights

Thousands of people gather at Sunset Park in Las Vegas for the three-day Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival. Visitors can enjoy all kinds of period entertainment, such as jousting competitions, small knightly parades, displays of gleaming armor, and even impromptu lectures on the fascinating history of the Renaissance. Additionally, audiences will be able to watch historical reenactments and live performances, as well as try food and drinks from the era.

As well as themed medieval fun, the event includes a range of timeless classic performances such as musical, comedy and theatrical performances. Additionally, visitors can participate in live demonstrations of Renaissance arts and crafts, such as weaving, glassblowing, and blacksmithing. Additionally, there are plenty of food and drink options available, with exhibitors offering everything from turkey legs to mead. A whiskey tasting in a semi-private setting at the Royal Pub de la Foire is available for adults only. Meanwhile, active people can try ax throwing and archery. Children, meanwhile, can take part in fun medieval activities, pony rides, camel rides, face painting, inflatables and a petting zoo. With activities for all ages, the festival is an ideal event for families!

Villages

Several of the Las Vegas Renaissance Festival’s themed villages are filled with different characters: royalty, knights, Vikings, barbarians, pirates and fairies. Guests can watch live shows and participate in various activities. The Royal Court village is ruled by the Kingdom of Coreathea, a re-enactment group, focused on the Renaissance era, from 1485 to 1603. Pirates Port features Clan Darksail, the French Royal Corsairs of Clan Darksail. The village offers workshops and interactive card games for children, as well as Pirate Yoga on Sunday afternoons. The village of Barbarian Town features the crew of the Battle Wolf, privateers and mercenaries of the seas, as well as The Pride, a traveling caravan of Eastern Europeans, and many others.

The Age of Chivalry Las Vegas Renaissance Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are available on the official website at the following Early Bird prices: a single-day adult ticket is $15 + $3.56 fee, a single-day child ticket (under 12 years old) is $8 + $3.34 fees; a three-day adult pass is $35 + $4.17 fee, and a three-day child pass is $20 + $3.71 fee.
