9,580 recruitment of permanent staff in the public sector until the end of 2023

There are thousands of permanent staff positions that will be filled through ASEP until the end of the year.

According to dnews, ASEP’s large written competition will bring a barrage of announcements for permanent public employment in the coming period. The process of the large written competition is already in the second stage as after 1ΒΒ2023 and the 141 permanent recruitments in civil aviation, 2nd year 2023 is next, which is expected in the near future.

Among the upcoming announcements are the permanent jobs in 115 public bodies with the “mammoth” announcement 2GB2023. The announcement for 1200 jobs for the disabled also stands out.

At the same time, the much-discussed competition for the 1200 recruitments to the municipal police is expected, which is expected close to Christmas – with the municipality of Attica holding the lion’s share in the allocation of positions.

• Announcement by the Ministry of Citizen Protection for 126 employees in correctional institutions – PE TE, DE positions. They will mainly be asked for:

The announcement 5k2023 concerns DE and HR categories and the staff that will be hired in the hospitals will be on a permanent contract.

• Announcement for 1200 places for disabled people

Among the announcements is the one concerning the disabled, which according to ASEP sources will include 1200 jobs for people with a 50% disability.

• Announcement of municipal police 1200 TE and DE recruitments

The recruitment competition in municipal but also in judicial police will be one of the last as the election process set back ASEP’s plans and the proclamation is expected to be issued near Christmas.

Recruitment will take place in 158 municipalities and concerns the educational categories PE, TE and DE (Secondary).

• In the municipality of Athens, 181 positions are allocated, of which 153 are in the DE category and 14 positions are in the PE and TE categories.

• In the municipality of Thessaloniki, 80 places are allocated (40 DE, 20 PE, 20 TE).

• In the municipality of Heraklion Crete 30 (18, DE, 6 PE, 6 TE), in the municipality of Thermi 20 (15 DE, 4 PE, 1 TE), in the municipality of Acharnon 16 (12 DE, 2 PE, 2 TE), in the municipality of Thermaikos 15 (11 DE, 2 PE, 2 TE) and in the municipality of Chalkide 13 places (9 DE, 2 PE, 2 TE).

• Also, 12 places belong to the municipalities of Vari – Voula – Vouliagmeni, Keratsini – Drapetsona and Pyrgos.

• 11 places correspond to the municipalities of Agios Dimitrios, Elefsina, Kassandra and Katerinis and 10 places each to the municipalities of Agrini, Drama, Eordaia, Thira, Komotini, Mandra – Idyllia, Nafpaktia, Neapolis – Sykeon, Nikaia – Ag. Ioannis Rentis, Rethymno and Florina.

• In the remaining 111 municipalities there are between one and nine positions.

• Accordingly, the 213 positions are distributed among 34 other municipalities, including Piraeus (77 positions), Chania (32) and Kalamaria (15).

It is noted that this is the first time that recruitment to the municipal police will be carried out entirely through ASEP, as until now they were exempted from the Authority and were done by units in accordance with the provisions of PD 135/06.
