The management of the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) stated that Arsjad Rasjid’s leadership as general chairman had provided a lot of progress and development for the organization. Arsjad has carried out many programs and breakthroughs while serving as Chairman of Kadin until now.

Apart from that, the Kadin organization, as a bridge for communication with the government and internal relations with the Regional Chamber of Commerce, is also running better.

“In fact, when he (Arsjad) was on leave to serve as head of the winning team for one of the presidential candidates, he never invited or mobilized the Provincial Chamber of Commerce or the Regency/City Chamber of Commerce to support a particular candidate pair. After he was active again, the organization and its programs ran well too,” said the General Chairperson of the East Java Province Kadin, Adik Dwi Putranto, in a written statement, Tuesday (24/9).

He explained that during Arsjad’s leadership, collaboration and synergy between districts and cities with the central government was very good. Adik gave an example of the programs initiated by Arsjad, such as massive vocational education and training and for MSME programs.

“There are many programs that are in line with the government,” he said.

The Chairman of the West Java Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Cucu Sutara, made the same statement. According to him, there have been many breakthroughs made both internally at Kadin and in collaboration with the government.

“Including the implementation of the B20 and G20 which was considered successful. Then, Ketum Arsjad was also active in fighting for MSMEs to move up in class. In fact, he was active in vocational programs, busines advisory council (ASEAN BAC) 2023, and create a roadmap for Golden Indonesia 2045,” concluded Ucu. (Z-11)
