The General Directorate of Transport in Giza has prepared a traffic diversion map for vehicle drivers, which coincides with the complete closure of the ring road in the direction of the Al-Munib to Mariouteya link and tourist highway for 30 days. – Vehicles starting from the top of Al-Munib and wishing to connect to the Western Arch via the Mariouteya axis should turn right to the entrance of the Amr Ibn Al-Aas axis, walk 800 meters and then turn around to return to the ring road again and use the Amr Ibn Al-Aas axis The start of the Mariouteya Link towards the Western Arch will be closed and diverted for 15 days.
second stage
Raising and installing trusses above the entrances and houses of the Mariouteya axis link requires the complete closure of the entrances to the Mariouteya link from the Western Arch of the Alexandria Desert Highway to Al-Munib and from Saft El-Laban towards Al-Munib During the raising of the trusses Zone lasts 3 days.
Alternative movement paths are:
– Vehicles coming from Al-Wahat Road and 6 October City use Al-Wahat Road and from there join the tourist road towards Al-Munib Ring Road.– Vehicles arriving from the Alexander Agricultural Road and 26 July Corridor area to the top of Western Arch and wishing to use the start of the currently closed Mariouteya link (traveling at the top of Western Arch to reach Oasis Road to Tourist Road and from there proceed to Al-Munib Ring Road (closed for 3 days).
The third stage
Completion of the installation of beams and metal beams requires the closure of the starting point of the Mariouteya connection from Al-Munib to the Western Arch for 15 days.
The General Administration of Transport of Giza coordinates with the implementing company to provide adequate technical assistance. Ensure the safety of the business area and arrange necessary transportation services and traffic diversion in the business area to facilitate vehicle access.
