He emphasized that the contract signed between the hotel and the dancer was written in Arabic and English, which negated her assertion before the prosecutor that she signed the contract without understanding its terms because the contract was in Arabic Written.

Adderley revealed that according to the contract, the dancers were paid $100 per day of work.

He added that the contract prohibits the dancer from engaging in any other work, paid or unpaid, for the entire contract period (five years) unless she obtains prior written permission from management. If this condition is violated, Safinaz must pay $1.5 million in damages to the hotel.
