Diabolik Murder, the Surprising Discovery of the Killer’s True Identity. And a Witness Has Disappeared –

Raoul Esteban Calderon, the alleged killer of Fabrizio Piscitelli known as ‘Diabolik’, does not exist for the Argentine authorities. According to what emerged from the rogatory of the Antimafia of Rome in Argentina his name is Gustavo Aleandro Musumeci and he was born in Buenos Aires on April 30, 1970. This was revealed in today’s hearing, in the bunker courtroom of Rebibbia, by the prosecutor Mario Palazzi, during the trial for the murder of the former leader of the Irriducibili of Lazio. Musumeci is accused before the third Assize court of Rome on charges of voluntary homicide aggravated by mafia methods and illegal possession of weapons. The DDA magistrate also underlined that Musumeci used numerous aliases to commit crimes in South America. The Argentine authorities will then send Musumeci’s criminal record to the Rome prosecutor’s office and the court, to establish what type of crime the defendant, of Italian origin, committed in his country of origin.

Lawyer Eleonora Nicla Moiraghi, Musumeci’s defender, explained that this is an “element that had already emerged during the testimony of one of the agents before the Court of Assizes of Frosinone that the identity of the accused had been the subject of investigative investigations, also in light of what was claimed by his ex-partner Rina Bussone who had declared that during some calls to Argentina his family called him Gustavo. Now the response to the rogatory will be the subject of critical observations by the defense”.

The next hearing has been set for October 23, when Fabio Gaudenzi, a friend and collaborator of Massimo Carminati who has so far been unavailable, will be heard as a witness. The mystery is therefore about the numerous identities and aliases that the killer, suspected of the ambush on August 7, 2019 when Fabrizio Piscitelli was killed on a bench in the Acquedotti park in Tuscolano, has used over the years. An important confirmation will come with the comparison of the fingerprints of the Afis system with those present in the databases of foreign countries where the killer with many names lived. An important contribution to the investigation is that provided by two collaborators of justice and his ex-partner, currently under protection by the anti-mafia. Investigations are ongoing to trace the instigators of the crime, who have remained unpunished until now.
