How to use the Tides app on Apple Watch

O watchOS 11 brought, in addition to the new Translate applications (Translate) and Vital Signs (Vitals), a call Tides (Tides).

The purpose of this app is to allow users to stay up to date with changes in coastal conditions over a seven-day period, such as high and low tides, floods and ebbs, as well as sunrise and sunset, weather, wind speed and direction and, of course, wave height and period.

See how to use it! 🌊

Open the Tides app on your watch. To add a location, tap the button with three dots (in the top left corner), scroll to the bottom of the list, and tap the “+” button to search or see nearby locations on the map view.

When you want to remove one of them, just swipe left over the item name and tap the “X”.

When you select a location in the app, you can see a summary of the changing tide conditions. Turn the Digital Crown to view tide estimates and tap the “i” to find more details like wind, sunset, and more.
