27 editors and trainees, four media designers, four secretaries and four copywriters happily put together your daily newspaper and the digital local news for you every day. Whether investigative research, local events in politics, business, schools or kindergartens, follow-up reports and services such as announcements of events – we have been offering you all of this every day and for a long time in our daily newspapers.
In the free internet area you have free access to national news from the areas of politics, sports, business and culture. We also provide local news briefs from Dithmarschen.
Anyone who wants to find out more about their town or the district as a whole also has the opportunity to do so digitally. However, we do not offer this service, which goes beyond that of the daily newspapers with additional images, videos or graphics and is constantly growing, without something in return. We have created two new online positions within the editorial team – and our colleagues do not live on air alone.
In addition, we believe it is justified and appropriate to bring our digital offerings to the news market for a fee: firstly, you can only get much of the information provided there from us, and secondly, digital customers have a head start over the paying readers of our daily newspapers.
