In addition to the now-passed PlayStation State of Play and some upcoming Tokyo Game Show events, the folks at the Convergence Games Showcase will also be spotlighting a variety of indie and AA creators. Fireshine Games is one such company that will have a prominent presence at the Convergence Games Showcase, with the publisher actually showing glimpses and updates on four distinct projects during the event. As for what those projects will be, I recently had the opportunity to speak with Tina Moore, Fireshine’s director of product marketing, and she walked me through everything the publisher will be showing off.“That’s the great thing about Fireshine. We have such a wide variety of games and they’re all very different,” Moore said.“So four titles included. The first one I’m going to mention is Shadows of Doubt, which is obviously the immersive sandbox detective game that everyone knows and loves. That’s going to version 1.0 and is coming to Convergence. So, all The 1.0 version of Shadows of Doubt will be available when the show goes live, so it’s an amazing opportunity and, you know, we’re really excited about it. Heard it all at Gamescom. So here’s a preview of Opening Night Live, a techno-horror game from Pulsatrix Studios that we’re pretty excited about. We’ve done it… we did a project with some influencers, and it was all about their reaction to the Opening Night Live trailer. So we’re really excited to bring more AILA elements to the show. “Then we also have Tales of Seikyu, which is a great farming sim that’s kind of like a romance game. So you have waifus and husbands and you know, there’s a nice, cozy, happy, lovely experience there… So it’s a beautiful game that’s done really well in terms of awareness and people being interested in it and we’re going to announce at the showcase that we’re going to open up our first alpha for people to come and play Tales of. Seikyu. So we’re really excited to get it into the hands of a wider audience, but we’re still allowing a fair amount of people to come in and get their hands on it, so that’s exciting.” And then we also have Iter, which is our mining tower defense game that we’re really excited about as well, it has a great personality. So, yeah, we’re really excited to bring all of these games and all of this good news to the Convergence audience.The Convergence Games Showcase will take place on September 26th at 20:00 BST / 21:00 CEST, so be sure to check out the live stream to see all these announcements from Fireshine Games Live.
