A 2-year-old girl died this Saturday after being found unconscious in a swimming pool located in a rural complex on the Almonacid road, within the municipality of Puebla de Almenara (Cuenca).
According to sources from the 112 Castilla-La Mancha Emergency and Urgent Service, the incident was reported at 18:05.
The girl was found unconscious inside the pool and when the paramedics arrived they could only certify her death.
Civil Guard personnel, a medical helicopter, an emergency medical team from Villamayor de Santiago and a basic life support ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
