Every Saturday in October, AMC invites you to see movies with the legendary action star Tom Cruise. Viewers can expect screenings full of deadly missions and undefeated agents: the “Mission: Impossible” series and two thrillers about Jack Reacher.
In the series “Tom Cruise Saves the World” three films from the series “Mission: Impossible” will appear on the screen, telling the story of the activities of agent Ethan Hunt. In the first part, directed by Brian De Palma, Hunt is wrongly accused of treason and decides to unmask the real spy on his own. “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol” follows the agents of the Impossible Mission Force, who plan to clear themselves of the charges of committing a terrorist attack and thwart the outbreak of nuclear war. In “Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation”, Ethan Hunt’s team must stop the deadly organization called the Syndicate in order to prevent the global threat. In October, viewers will also expect the adventures of Jack Reacher – “Jack Reacher: One Shot” and “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back” – in which the mysterious investigator deals with explaining a cruel crime potentially committed by a military sniper, and also unmasks a government conspiracy. The first film in the “Tom Cruise Saves the World” series will premiere on AMC on October 5 at 10:00 p.m.
