AP: US to include cluster munitions in new aid package for Ukraine

“The upcoming aid will include cluster munitions intended for use by Ukrainian fighter jets,” it is said in the agency’s report. However, the exact volumes of deliveries have not yet been disclosed.
The package also includes HIMARS multiple launch rocket system ammunition, Javelin anti-tank missiles, other anti-tank weapons, mine-resistant armored vehicles, bridge layers, and other equipment. With the package, total U.S. security assistance to Ukraine since February 2022 will exceed $56.2 billion, according to the AP.
