The core committee of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has said that the statement by a “responsible person” of PPP not to recognize elections without the involvement of Tehreek-e-Insaf is a reflection of correct thinking.
The most important meeting of the Sub-Political Committee of the Core Committee of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was held in which the country’s political situation and various aspects of the political strategy of Tehreek-e-Insaf were discussed in detail.
Apart from this, in the meeting, the statements regarding the level playing field and participation of Tehreek-e-Insaf in the election process were reviewed in the chapter of conducting the elections of the leaders of various political parties, especially the People’s Party.
In the statement issued by PTI, it was said that emphasis on the need to provide equal opportunities for all political parties for free, fair, impartial and transparent elections is a positive trend.
Political Committee Tehreek-e-Insaaf said that PTI is the largest political party in the country and is equally popular in all units of the federation and any unconstitutional and undemocratic plan under the “London Agreement” including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Attempts to artificially and unnaturally exclude a political party from the electoral process will have a very negative impact on democracy.
The committee said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will welcome every positive role played in the conduct of free, fair, impartial, transparent and prompt elections. The schedule was also discussed and finalized.
