The Teramo legal world has been hit by another loss: the passing of the lawyer Luca Petrella who would have turned 55 next month. He was left without a chance by an illness he fought against for a long time. Everyone today remembers him as an esteemed professional, who had carried on the firm inherited from his father Berardo (for years president of the order of labor consultants of Teramo) so much so that he directed his specialization precisely towards companies, consultancy and labor law. He was sentimentally linked to the municipal councilor for environmental policies Graziella Cordone.
CONDOLENCE
Many messages of condolence on social media and expressions of esteem, including that of the mayor Gianguido D’Alberto who wrote: “The passing of Luca Petrella leaves a great void in all of us. A great professional, Luca was gifted with extraordinary humanity and we will always remember his availability, his calmness, his ability to always be present. When in Memmingen, as soon as we arrived, I and the institutional delegation from Teramo that accompanied me were reached by the news of the tragic passing of our friend, councilor Massimo Speca, the greatest difficulty was to immediately find the means to return. Luca, despite his commitments and difficulties, did not leave us alone, and together with the then councilor Dario Di Dario he immediately got in the car to pick us up in Bolzano and take us back to Teramo, as a testimony of his availability. My fondest memories go to Luca, to his family and to his partner who was at his side until the end, the councilor Graziella Cordone, my immense embrace and that of the entire municipal administration”.
Even the President of the Province Camillo D’Angelo had words in his memory: «The news of the death of the lawyer Luca Petrella leaves us all shocked and saddened. In this very difficult moment, my thoughts go to the councilor Graziella Cordone and to the whole family. Luca was a person esteemed and appreciated by all, and his absence will be deeply felt. For those who knew and loved him, the memory of a person capable of leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those who were close to him will remain forever».
THE FRIENDS
And among these friends there is also the psychiatrist Domenico De Berardinis who always dedicated a greeting to him on social media: «It comforts me to think that our Lord calls to himself the most beautiful people to surround himself with angels who protect us and watch over us. Today there is a special one up there». In addition to loving his work, the lawyer Petrella in his free time was also an athlete and a fan of Teramo Calcio. He frequented the stadium and there too he was able to transmit his values. In addition to his partner, he leaves behind his mother Giovanna and his sisters Francesca and Veronica. The funeral will take place this afternoon, at 3:30 pm, in the cathedral.
