Naska as Zerocalcare. The first trailer of the animated series was released on the young singer’s Instagram profile, which will be available on Prime Video from October 1st.
The title chosen by Naska for the series about which very little is known is “The freak family” and, in its aesthetics, it seems to be inspired by the products that the cartoonist Zerocalcare has created in recent years on Netflix.
NASKA ARE PRIME
Radio Zeta has been particularly close to Naska, having been a partner of the only Roman date of his Summer Fucking Tour, which took place on September 15th in Cinecittà. From the first images that the singer himself has released on his social profile, there is a clear reference to the latest Pixar film Inside Out, with the emotions in Naska’s mind that literally come to life. The freak family was written by the singer himself together with Alessio Stigliano, a famous YouTuber who will also lend his voice to one of the main characters. The drawings of the series were made by Pietro Cascavilla.
NASKA, WHO IS THE SINGER LOVED BY GENERATION ZETA?
His real name is Diego Caterbetti and as soon as he finished high school, he moved from the Marche to Milan to pursue his dream of music. Naska understood that his path was behind the microphone when he started to have success thanks to Twitch. In 2020 he released the single Settembre together with xDiemondx, a song built on sounds that veer towards the pop punk that he will explore later. During 2021 he released the singles Mamma non mi parla, Spezzami il cuore and Punkabbestia, which anticipate his first studio album. Success comes thanks to this last song which will become almost synonymous with his style. On March 4, 2022, his debut album Rebel was released, consisting of ten tracks produced by Renzo Stone and Andrea Bonomo, with the exception of the excerpts, and debuted at 22nd place in the FIMI Album Chart.
Diego Naska’s career is just beginning. He later performed at various festivals, including Rock in Roma, the Goa-Boa Festival and the Mi Ami Festival. At the beginning of 2023, the Rebel Unplugged tour began, consisting of acoustic performances and he also collaborated with Lo Stato Sociale on the single Che benessere!?, which was released on January 20. Next came Porno by Finley, a single that saw Naska collaborate with the musical group. In April, Rolling Stone included Naska among the artists “who can make a difference this year” and in May his second album La mia stanza was released. In the summer, the single Summersad 4 was released in collaboration with the group La Sad (Theø, Fiks and Plant) and on September 29, the deluxe edition of La mia stanza was released, containing 2 unreleased songs, an acoustic version of the song and a “remix” of an existing song.
