Chinese company Huawei’s decision to end its dependence on Android

Huawei, the world’s second largest smartphone maker, has decided to stop relying on the Android mobile operating system.

According to Huawei founder Ren Zhenfei, the company will introduce its operating system Hongmeng, which is 60 percent faster than Android and is not just for mobile phones.

The operating system developed by Huawei will be used in Internet routers, data storage centers and self-driving cars.

Ren Zenfai said that before putting this system into regular use, Huawei will have to create its own app store, which is in the final stages of preparation.

The Chinese technology maker said that Huawei’s operating system will take some time to make its way into the market as Android and iOS are already available in the market and have good developer support.

The Chinese company’s new operating system will be introduced in China early this year and will be rolled out to users worldwide in 2020.

It should be noted that this year Google banned the use of some Android applications on Huawei’s new designs, and the Trump administration added Huawei to the list of companies that US firms will not be able to do business with without a license. However, now the news of the easing of American sanctions is also circulating.
