In the bankruptcy proceedings of Signa Holding of the Austrian investor René Benko The late-filed claims were examined on Tuesday at the subsequent audit meeting. They now amount to a total of 7.74 billion euros.

Restructuring proceedings converted into bankruptcy proceedings
In April, the Vienna Commercial Court converted the insolvency proceedings of Signa Holding, owned by the Tyrolean company founder René Benko, from a restructuring procedure to bankruptcy proceedings. In bankruptcy proceedings, there is no minimum quota for creditors’ claims.
The subsequent examination meeting is an appointment at which creditors who have not registered their claims in time in the insolvency proceedings can do so. The meeting serves to review the subsequently registered claims and to decide whether they will be recognized.
