O WhatsApp is testing new features in your app to iOS. According to the website WABetaInfothe social network is working to allow block the receipt of a large volume of messages from unknown contactsas well as in an easier way to add stickers to a conversation.
Starting with the new feature focused on security and privacy, it was found in the version 24.19.10.76 of the app in TestFlight and adds a toggle in the app settings to enable blocking of messages from unknown recipients, especially if they exceed a large volume.

According to WhatsApp, the feature aims not only to protect the user’s account, but also to improve the device’s performance — which can be especially useful in cases of spam, when a large number of unimportant messages are sent at the same time.

According to the WABetaInfothe option is not permanent for affected accounts, which will be automatically unblocked once they return to sending normal levels of messages. It will be possible to activate it directly from notifications if a high volume of messages is detected.
It will be easier to find emojis!
The other feature, found in the beta version 24.19.10.73 of the app, will allow you to control how sticker suggestions appear in the interface. Basically, it will be possible to activate an option that will present sticker suggestions when typing a certain corresponding emoji in a conversation.

The feature will work in a similar way to what has existed for many years in Telegram, with the main difference being in the way it will behave in the interface. When typing the emoji, the corresponding suggestion will appear in the place currently dedicated to the button for the sticker tray.
Being completely optional for users, the new feature will be useful mainly in cases where third-party stickers are associated with a certain emoji, making it easier to add them to the conversation without necessarily having to search for them individually in the tray, as is currently the case.
