Biden confirms that no decision has been made regarding allowing Kiev to strike deep inside Russia

Biden said he “has not yet given Ukraine permission to use American weapons to strike deep inside Russian territory.”

Asked by a reporter whether US authorities had made a decision on the issue, Biden said: “No.”

The Times newspaper reported earlier, citing its sources, that Joe Biden is less inclined than his Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, to allow Kiev to use long-range missiles to strike deep inside Russia.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow has combat-ready weapons and that this will have dire consequences for the Kiev regime’s partners.

Members of the European Parliament, in a plenary session in Strasbourg on Thursday, adopted by a majority vote a resolution on Ukraine calling on EU countries to immediately lift all restrictions on Kyiv’s strikes on Russian territory.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has previously confirmed that NATO countries are not only discussing the possible use of Western long-range weapons by Kiev, but are, in fact, deciding whether to participate directly in the Ukrainian conflict.

He added that the direct involvement of Western countries in the Ukrainian conflict will change its essence, and Russia will be forced to make decisions based on the threats it faces in this way.

In response to a question about Russia’s possible response to new attacks on Russian territory, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the head of state and the military were aware of this, “and are taking appropriate countermeasures and preparing for them.”
