The governor of the province of Tanganyika calls on the youth of his jurisdiction to massively integrate the army, in order to contribute to the efforts of the Head of State, Félix Tshisekedi, for peace in this corner of the country. The number one of this province made this call at the end of his meeting, Friday, September 20, with Army General Christian Tshiwewe, Chief of General Staff of the FARDC -Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo-.
Pleased with the discussions, Christian Kitungwa warmly thanked the leader of the Congolese army for the efforts already deployed on the ground.
“Security is the very important situation linked to the development of the province. The guarantor of the nation swears only by security and free movement of the population. It is this option that led us to meet the authority of the Armed Forces, to inform him of the security issue. We felt a seasoned general, who has control of the security situation. This gives us hope. I appeal to young people for their integration into the army,” explained the governor of Tanganyika.
Several cases of urban crime have been reported in recent days in Kalemie, in the province of Tanganyika. The population of the different districts of the city of Kalemie has repeatedly denounced several cases of theft perpetrated by bandits operating with bladed weapons, machetes, iron bars, knives, and even firearms.
