Ebrahim Raisi, the theory of the pager that exploded on the helicopter emerges –

A mass psychosis is spreading in Lebanon after the two waves of attacks against Hezbollah with walkie talkies and explosive pagers. It seems that citizens have adopted drastic measures for fear of being victims of similar episodes: they have in fact started to turn off devices and eliminate batteries. But that’s not all. A device similar to the pagers used to strike in Beirut, could have exploded inside the helicopter on which the former Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi was traveling in May, causing it to crash. This is the theory advanced by an Iranian deputy and member of the Majlis Committee for National Security and Foreign Policy, Ahmad Bakhshayesh Ardestani, “A likely scenario regarding the helicopter crash in which Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi died is the explosion of his pager,” he said, quoted by Iranian media. “Raisi was using a pager, although its model may be different from those in possession of Hezbollah militants,” the MP said, noting that the Islamic Republic may have played a role in purchasing the pagers.

Walkie talkies also explode. Hezbollah's wrath: Bloody revenge

“(Iranian forces) definitely played a role in purchasing Hezbollah’s pagers, and therefore our intelligence agencies must also investigate this matter,” he said. The pager explosion theory began circulating last week after a photo went viral showing Raisi holding a pager on a coffee table. However, according to the investigation concluded by the Iranian government, adverse weather conditions and thick fog were the cause of the helicopter crash. The report also ruled out flight path deviations, incorrect route information and outside interference as factors in the crash in a mountainous area in East Azerbaijan province on May 19. It also noted that the pilot did not report any emergency situation.
