Emergency calls – Orange Municipal Police: no quarter against delinquency – TF1

Who hasn’t been bothered at least once by neighbors who think they can do whatever they want? Loud music, parking problems, noisy children, in Orange in the south of France, these are some of the rather complicated interventions to manage for the 35 municipal police officers. Neighborhood wars, but also street fights, drunk driving, reckless drivers, there is plenty to do in terms of public safety. This city of 29,000 inhabitants, with its magnificent cultural and historical heritage, recorded more than 1,000 crimes and offenses last year. So the municipal police are not idle: their 77 surveillance cameras allow them to spot live anything that disturbs the peace of the city, especially during the big festivals, especially techno music festivals, which attract hundreds of wild tourists.
