Extensive programming of the El Rosario de Isnotú parish dedicated to the patron saint

The Virgen del Rosario parish of Isnotú, spiritual leader of the land that saw the birth of the future Saint of Venezuela José Gregorio Hernández, has an extensive program, prepared by the ecclesiastical authorities of the parish headed by priest José Magdaleno Álvarez, a religious event that has the approval of the Diocese of Trujillo, whose authority is in charge of Bishop José Trinidad Fernández, who will officiate the mass for the patronal day on Monday, October 7 at 10 in the morning.

The rector of the Niño Jesús Sanctuary, which recalls the place where José Gregorio Hernández was born, provided us with the general programme of the festivities, which are dedicated not only to the patron saint, the Virgin of the Rosary, but also to Saint Therese, whose day is Wednesday the 9th, a festival that also includes the day of Saint Pilar on Saturday the 12th of October, as patron saint of Hispanic culture.

The program

The program to celebrate the feast of these three virgins, El Rosario, Santa Teresita and Santa Pilar, will take place from Saturday, September 28 to Saturday, October 12.

Every day there is a special program, scheduled to begin on the 28th of the ninth month, dedicated to Mary, Mother of the Church.

Sunday the 29th, the program indicates, is the day of Mary; Mirror of Justice; Monday the 30th is the day of Mary, Ark of the Covenant; Tuesday the 1st of October is the day of Mary Virgin of Veneration; Wednesday the 2nd is the day of Mary the powerful Virgin; Thursday the 3rd is the day of the Virgin Cause of Joy; Friday the 4th is the day of the Virgin Morning Star; Saturday the 5th is the day of Mary; Consolation of Migrants and Sunday the 6th of October is the day of Mary, Queen of the Holy Rosary.

The patronal day

Monday, October 7 is the patronal day, with a special program, which includes the visit of the Diocesan Bishop of Trujillo, José de la Trinidad Fernández.

Tuesday the 8th is the day of the Society of Our Lady of the Rosary and Wednesday the 9th is the Feast of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, concluding the activities scheduled on Saturday the 12th of October which is the day of Our Lady of Pilar, Patroness of Hispanicism, a day that celebrates at a national level, as the meeting of two worlds, the arrival of Christopher Columbus to America.

The scheduled activities have the support of the members of the various apostolic groups that are active both in the Sanctuary of the Child Jesus and in the temple of the Virgin of the Rosary of Isnotú, according to the information on the special activities to be held at the end of September and beginning of October of this year.
