He finalized the payment for the first penthouse on June 10, 2024, and for the second on July 26, 2024, thus acquiring both properties in the space of a month without any mortgage registered on them, which suggests that he paid the entire amount in cash.

Aside from his properties in Afer Hangang, J-Hope also owns two buildings in the high-end Trimage complex in Seongsu, Seoul, a popular location for celebrities, so with his recent acquisitions, he now owns four properties in Seoul. Incidentally, J-Hope is currently serving in the military and is set to complete his service on October 17.

Among the young and wealthy figures is also South Korean soccer star Son Heung Min, who plays for Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League. Son reportedly purchased a penthouse at Eterno Apgujeong for ₩40 billion or about $30 million in June, and considering his frequent travels to league games, it is likely that his family will be the main residents of the new home.
