Dog “Momo” from Thuringia gets a happy ending – stroke of fate follows

Every day, the Thuringian animal shelters do everything they can to care for their animals, get them back on their feet and find them loving families.

This was also the case with the dog “Momo”, who had actually already found his happy ending in Thuringia. But then fate struck again…

Thuringia: Happy ending of short duration

Little “Momo” and the Eisenach animal shelter are old acquaintances. The 6-year-old dog was already brought to the animal welfare workers once because her owner was too ill to look after her. She was all the more excited when “Momo” was finally allowed to leave the Thuringian animal shelter and return to her owner after this difficult time. “How happy the little mouse was,” the animal shelter wrote on Facebook.

“Momo” was jumping up and down for joy and could hardly believe her luck. But unfortunately this happiness was only short-lived… The Thuringian animal shelter reported on Facebook that “Momo’s” beloved owner had sadly passed away. She has now been rehomed in the animal welfare organization’s halls in Eisenach. And they are very worried about the dog.

“Momo is deeply sad,” the Eisenach animal shelter wrote on Facebook. So sad that she didn’t want to eat anything at first. The animal shelter now sincerely hopes that a new, loving family will soon be found for Momo. Because the little fighter has a big heart and longs for affection and security.
