General Index up 0.14% – Trying to bounce back from yesterday’s decline

In slightly higher levels it moves Greek Stock Exchange at its opening today’s meeting, trying to react higher after yesterday’s strong pullback.

The investors are turning their attention to today’s assessment of the Greek economy by DBRS.

The General Price Index at 11:00, stands at 1,249.23 points, registering a slight increase of 0.14%. The value of the transactions amounts to 4.51 million euros.

THE high-cap index notes up 0.12%, while the mid-cap index falls to 0.29%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Ethniki (+1.15%), Ellactor (+1.14%), Aegean (+1.11%) and GEK TERNA (+0.96 %).

On the contrary, the biggest decline was registered by the shares of Quest Participations (-1.76%), Autohellas (-1.30%), Motor Oil (-1.12%) and Viohalco (-1.10%).

Of the individual indices, the Food (+1.37%) and Financial Services (+0.42%) indices recorded the greatest increase.

On the contrary, the biggest losses are recorded by the indices of Technology (-1.49%) and Raw Materials (-1.13%).

20 stocks move up, 39 down and 12 remain stable.

The biggest increase was registered by the shares: Medical +3.28% and Domiki Kritis +2.65%, while the biggest decline was recorded by the shares: Epsilon Net -2.81% and Intertek -2.71%
