Four people were killed and two dozen were injured in a shooting in Birmingham, Alabama, the local portal AL reports, citing police. “A shooting occurred in the Five Points South entertainment district in Birmingham, leaving four people dead and at least 21 injured,” the publication says. According to local police spokesman Truman Fitzgerald, the shooting began shortly after 11 p.m. local time. Three people died on the spot, and another died in the hospital. The victims were hospitalized. According to the portal, shots were fired while clubgoers were standing in line. The attackers may have been shooting at a group of people. No one has been detained yet.
