The American rap legend, Xzibit, is currently in Budapest as part of his European tour, and the date of the concert coincides with the rapper’s 50th birthday. He celebrated the anniversary in a worthy place, above the clouds, in the VIRTU Restaurant on the top of the MOL Campus.
The rapper celebrated his 50th birthday with a huge party, where he was of course accompanied by the members of the band. It was not by chance that Xzibit chose VIRTU as the venue for the celebration, as he wanted to learn as much as possible about classic Hungarian food and drinks during his stay in Budapest. Chef Levente Lendvai prepared gray catfish, palác goulash and grilled onions for the team, who spent an unforgettable evening on the 28th floor of the MOL Campus. The musician also particularly likes wines, from which he first chose Grand Tokaj’s Meszes Furmint for dinner, and for red wines, he chose the overseas, Californian Black Stallion Cabernet Sauvignon.
His group of friends, unlike him, are huge cocktail fans, so they chose from the cocktail selection of the sky bar, which offers the most unique view of Budapest, among which the favorite was the Cadillac Margarita, which is the classic Margarita in a luxury version. The basis of the cocktail is Reposado Tequila, which is seasoned with rich, complex flavors by Grand Marnier premium orange liqueur, creating a silky smooth, yet deep overall effect in sips.
The musician said that because of his 50th birthday, he will definitely always remember this city and hopes to return here in the near future.
