Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Tamil film megastar Rajinikanth always seem to admire each other.

According to India Today, Amitabh Bachchan began his speech by saying how proud he was that Vaityan was his first Tamil film. The megastar also recalled the shooting of the film directed by Mukul Anand.
“During the shooting of ‘Hum’, I used to relax in my AC car while Rajini slept on the floor during breaks. Seeing their simplicity, I got out of the car and rested outside.’
Bachchan said these things in his video message which was played at the launch event of the film. The two actors have previously worked together in ‘Andha Gaon’ and ‘Ghirtaar’.
The brotherhood between them was evident when Rajinikanth praised Bachchan’s struggle to emerge from bankruptcy in the 1990s. At this time, Bachchan started his own company, Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited (ABCL), but it was not successful and soon went bankrupt, leaving the Bachchan family heavily in debt.
Vaityan is directed by TJ Gunanavel who earlier directed the popular Tamil legal drama ‘Jay Bheem’ starring Suriya in the lead role.
The film is slated to hit theaters on October 10 and also stars Fahad Fazil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushra Vijayan and VJ Rakshan.
