Do you have debts, and if so, long-term or short-term? (Money, people, everyday life)

My financial situation is currently getting to me a lot and I don’t know what to do?

I don’t even know where to start.
We are currently building a single-family home (140 m²) because there is simply not enough space for more and we have a monthly payment of €1200 (loan) once the loan has been paid out in full. We have not yet been able to draw down the loan in full because some trades are still missing and so we are currently paying preparation fees, which are currently €650 a month because we have only used 30-40% of the loan so far.

It’s not tragic, since we don’t have any rent (from our parents).

I currently have €2850 net available, we still have a buffer because we structured the loan in such a way that I can manage it alone if my wife is no longer available (children, illness, etc.) or if my wife can continue to pay off the loan herself. Together with my wife we currently have just under €4700 available, no rent costs, but these annoying provision fees.

On top of that, nothing is progressing. Our house is standing, the electrician canceled at short notice due to a staff shortage and won’t be coming until January. This means that our screed won’t be coming until January instead of before the Christmas holidays as planned.
