New York Post: Harris suffers from the “impostor syndrome” that worries Democrats

The article added: “It is worrying that Kamala Harris has set a negative record for the number of press and television interviews conducted by any candidate, and therefore concern prevails even among the Democratic Party.”

According to the newspaper, Harris has given three times fewer interviews since her nomination than her Republican opponent, Donald Trump.

The newspaper quoted a source from within the Democratic Party as saying that Harris communicates very little with the local media during her trips and tours. Although she still captures the attention of voters at the moment, she may face a decline in her popularity later.

In turn, psychologist Carol Lieberman indicated in an interview with the newspaper that Harris’ campaign is limiting her meetings with journalists, because the candidate suffers from great anxiety when answering questions, which raises suspicions that she suffers from “impostor syndrome” due to her doubts about her ability and qualifications for the presidency.

The doctor stressed that “Harris’s laughter, expressions, and wide hand movements are a clear expression of this anxiety.”

Imposter syndrome is a psychological phenomenon in which a person constantly doubts his abilities, sees his achievements as undeserved, and fears that others will discover his incompetence.

Axios previously reported that Harris’s campaign is deliberately limiting her interactions with the media, likely to avoid repeating the awkward situations that have characterized her interviews.

President Vladimir Putin commented on Harris’ nomination, saying that Russia supports her, adding: “Her laugh is contagious, and gives the impression that ‘everything is fine’, so we will shift our choice towards her.”

It is noteworthy that the presidential elections in the United States will be held on November 5.
