ACTOR Vino G Bastian said that building chemistry as brothers with Angga Yunanda in his latest film, My Annoying Brother, was one of the challenges for him.

“Actually, building chemistry with Angga is also (a challenge) because the story is about siblings, if people don’t believe they are siblings, it’s also difficult,” said Vino, Thursday (19/9).

“The chemistry between these brothers and sisters is not always built through romance, but rather like the siblings around us because when guys are with guys, the prestige is unimaginable,” he continued.

According to Vino, acting in the film My Annoying Brother was quite different compared to his previous works because Vino had to build
natural chemistry as brother and sister with Angga Yunanda.

In the film, Angga Yunanda plays Kemal, a blind judo athlete and Jaya’s younger brother.

Instead of being a brother and sister who have a warm relationship, Vino, who plays Jaya in the film, has to act like an older brother who seems indifferent, but loves his younger sibling.

Therefore, building natural chemistry like siblings with Angga Yunanda in the film became one of the challenges for Vino. However, Vino tried to show his best performance during the filming process.

“The story is about the brothers, but there are those closest to them around them, how can the story of the sisters lead the audience to forget that this film is a remake, so the chemistry must also flow,” said Vino.

Apart from being an older brother who seems indifferent but loves his younger sibling, the character Jaya, played by Vino, is an ex-convict who has just been released from prison.

Vino also had to maintain his slightly rough, indifferent, and outspoken attitude and style in the film.

“The character of the ex-convict must be embedded in the minds of the audience, starting from his gestures, his carelessness, it must be there continuously,”
the lid. (Ant/Z-1)
