Former US President Donald Trump said he believes the time for a new debate with his rival in the upcoming elections, Vice President Kamala Harris, has already been lost. He said this during a meeting with his supporters.

“The problem with having another debate is it’s too late. The voting has already started. She had a chance to do it on Fox News, which invited us, and I waited,” Trump said at a rally with supporters in North Carolina.

Trump believes that Harris is seeking an opportunity for a new round of debates because she is lagging behind him in the election race. Meanwhile, US Vice President Kamala Harris has accepted CNN’s offer to host the second debate on October 23 and has invited Trump to participate, reports RT.
