Councillor Germán Lares, president of the Environment, Territory and Urban Planning Commission of the Valera municipality, reported on some of the activities carried out by this commission.
First of all – Lares said – the revisions of the solid waste recycling ordinance for the Valera municipality, the Urban Cadastre ordinance and the Citizen Coexistence ordinance are being resumed.
The president of the Environment, Territory and Urban Planning Commission also mentioned that inspections of works are being carried out by the technical team of the commission, in order to know the status and compliance of the permits with the objective of avoiding damages to the municipality and inhabitants. Likewise, the processing of permits and authorizations for improvements to properties and buildings is beginning. “As long as they comply with the provisions of the cadastral charter, we are also providing legal advice in cases where citizens require it.”
Going into more detail, Councilman Lares mentioned that they are focused on 6th Avenue between 14th and 15th Streets, and that they are continuing with the review of the permits and applications for the “Mundo Total” Shopping Center, “we are just waiting for the presentation of the final project for this construction next to the C/C Plaza,” the same thing is being done in the Plata I Urbanization, on the Inces land.
Fenced forest
The president of this municipal commission said that he is monitoring the intervention of a Natural Forest, which protects the road on the premises of Avenida Las Pulga, bordering the Ganadera “which has been fenced by private individuals, awaiting this commission, which I chair, the pronouncement of the Minep and the Environmental Directorate of the Mayor’s Office.”
In the social aspect, Lares highlighted the support for the remodeling of the Los Ilustres Park, a work being carried out by the Regional Executive, “we are also promoting medicine delivery days with special attention to Inass, as well as planting trees in several communities in the Valera municipality.”
