With reference to Karthi’s Kathi starrer in Vikram, the two will surely face each other in the next film in this universe. Karthi’s words about Rolex’s role are now going viral on social media.
Karthi said that he was not told much about the character in the film Vikram and Suriya only gave a small hint. But Karthi added that after watching the film, he realized that it was such a character and when he saw him coming with a knife on the screen, it felt like a different level. But Karthi said that many people now see Suriya’s evil deeds and he has grown up watching it since childhood. Karthi was talking to Hit FM 90.8.
“I loved the role of Rolex as much as anyone else. I was only told, ‘Lokesh called and there is a small procedure’. When I saw the film, I realised that was what happened. When I saw that knife delivery in the theatre and the delivery of the dialogue afterwards was on a different level.
Many people asked me in interviews, what did you feel when you first saw the villain Suriya? Only seeing the evil deeds of Puli felt fresh. I grew up watching it. Rolex is not even half as good as this,” said Kati.
