Woman stabbed in Carvin: a silent march organized on Saturday October 5

Emotions are expected to run high on the afternoon of Saturday, October 5, in Carvin. Relayed by a group of residents on social networks on Friday evening, a call to participate in a silent march was launched to pay tribute to a 43-year-old woman from Carvin, fatally stabbed at her home on Saturday, October 14.

Husband in pre-trial detention

The time of the gathering is set for 2:30 p.m., on the Grand’Place. The organizers invite the participants to march in silence, with a candle or a white flower.

Arrested and taken into custody after the tragedy, the victim’s husband was brought before the Béthune judicial court on Monday and charged with “voluntary homicide by spouse”. He was placed in pre-trial detention.
