Italian Cinema made a “stop” in Patras

The Italian Cinema for three days “stopped” in Patras with the atrium of the new City Hall hosting the excellent films of Federico Fellini, Neri Marcore and Luca Lucini, which made up the puzzle of the screenings of this year’s tribute organized by the vice-mayor of culture in collaboration with the Italian Educational Institute of Athens.

More than 700 moviegoers watched the films with Fellini’s masterpiece “La dolce vita” (The Sweet Life) opening the curtain on Tuesday 17 September.

On Wednesday, September 18, Neri Marcore took the “baton” with the film “Zamora”. A film which is an excellent example of contemporary Italian Cinema.

The cycle of screenings closed on Thursday, September 19 with cinephiles enjoying through the film “Le mie ragazze di carta” which deals with the history and changes in the lives of three teenagers in the early 70’s in the Treviso area, the directorial work by Luca Lucini.

Admission to screenings of the tribute to Italian Cinema was free
