Fatigue, increased fatigue, fractures, as well as brittle hair and nails may indicate a vitamin D deficiency. This was reported by doctor and TV presenter Elena Malysheva.
“The easiest way to find out if you have a vitamin D deficiency is to get tested. Symptoms that indicate a deficiency include increased fatigue, tiredness, fractures, brittle hair and nails. If you notice any of these signs, you should see a doctor,” wrote Malysheva in her telegram channel.
According to Malysheva, healthy people do not need to regularly measure the level of vitamin D, which is synthesized in the body under the influence of sunlight. To do this, according to experts from the program “Live Healthy!”, it is necessary to expose about 25% of the body for 15-20 minutes. Cardiologist German Gandelman noted that vitamin D is key for bone formation and the functioning of the nervous system.
