Djurgården won against Häcken after a strong second half

The first half ended goalless. But after the break, Djurgården dominated the Allsvenskan match against Häcken and won 2-1.

The first half was goalless and it took until the 64th minute before Santeri Haarala on a pass from Viktor Bergh gave Djurgården the lead.

In the 75th minute, Tokmac Nguen increased the lead on a pass from Adam Ståhl.

The reduction to 1-2 came with a minute left to play, when Ali Youssef struck and scored for Häcken played by Adam Lundqvist. But Häcken couldn’t take more than that.

Häcken has one win, three draws and one loss and 11–10 in goal difference in the last five games, while Djurgården has two wins, one draw and two losses and 4–8 in goal difference. This was Häcken’s fourth odd-goal loss this season. It was also Djurgården’s fifth odd-goal victory.

Djurgården’s new table position is second place, while Häcken is in ninth place.

The next time the teams play in the series is Sunday, September 22. Then Häcken will meet Malmö FF at Eleda Stadium at 4:30 p.m. Djurgården takes on GAIS away at 2 p.m.
